Adelphi Chamber Orchestra PARTICIPATES IN MACY’S



Macy’s helps local charity raise funds and awareness to serve the musical and educational needs of the citizens of NJ.



River Edge, NJ – (June 6, 2014) – Macy’s and the Adelphi Chamber Orchestra invite customers to participate in Macy’s ninth annual national “Shop For A Cause” charity shopping event on August 23, 2014. Macy’s “Shop For A Cause” is a unique one-day-only shopping event created to support local charities’ fundraising efforts, and has helped raise more than $44 million for charities across the country since 2006. Customers can participate in this year’s event by purchasing shopping passes from The Adelphi Chamber Orchestra

while enjoying a day of spectacular discounts, entertainment and special events at Macy’s. Pass holders will receive special discounts on most regular, sale and clearance purchases all day, but some exclusions apply.

About The Adelphi Chamber Orchestra

The award-winning Adelphi Orchestra is a professional, non-profit orchestra offering symphony, chamber and educational concert programs in Northern NJ and the New York metropolitan area. Formerly called the Adelphi Chamber Orchestra, the AO is currently celebrating its 61st season of presenting concerts with accomplished national and international guest soloists.
