Amelia DeSalvio Muccia (Violin) is a member of the Adelphi Chamber Orchestra. She also plays in various orchestras including Livingston Symphony Orchestra, Garden State Philharmonic, Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey and others. Last summer she performed in chamber music concerts with Assisi Performing Arts in Assisi, Italy and plans to go back this summer. She teaches group violin and viola lessons to 4th and 5th graders at the Lafayette School and group violin classes to 3rd graders at the Washington Ave School ,School District of the Chathams. She also teaches Suzuki violin lessons at the Preparatory Center for the Arts at John J. Cali School of Music, Montclair State University. Amelia holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Mason Gross School of the Arts,Rutgers University and a Master of Arts in Music Performance from the John J.Cali School of Music , Montclair State University.
