Mary Katherine McNamara is an artist known for her interpretations of spinto and dramatic soprano repertoire.Career highlights include: Helene in Les Vepres Siciliennein Sarasota, Donna Anna in Belgium, Irene in Rienzi with Opera Orchestra New York, Verdi Requiem with Chautauqua Symphony, Rossini Stabat Mater in Jacksonville, and a concert of arias and excerpts of Il Trovatore in Montevideo.Ms. McNamara has performed in concert with the Aspen Music Festival Orchestra, Trenton Symphony, New York Horizon Concert Series, and the Spartanburg Symphony. She has received various awards including the OMTI fellowship, NYC regional Metropolitan Opera Council Finalist,and a grant from the Resonanz Foundation.

Daniel Lickteig, Baritone
Baritone Daniel Lickteig is garnering praise throughout American opera houses for his powerful, soaring voice. He has appeared with Annapolis Opera, Cleveland Opera, Asheville Lyric Opera, Sarasota Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Opera Iowa, Utah Festival Opera Company, Natchez Opera, Opera Theater of Philadelphia, and the Intermountain Opera Company. He has worked with conductors including Timothy Myers, Robert Lyall, Alfred Calabrese, Imre Paolo, Lucy Arner, Giampaolo Brachali, David Briskin, Dr. Robert Larson, Dr. David Blackburn, John Douglas and Alan Harler.
Highlights of his large operatic repertoire include Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Rossini’s Figaro, Verdi’s Rigoletto, Scarpia in Puccini’s Tosca, Marcello in La Bohème, Alfio in Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, and Tonio in Leoncavallo’s I Pagliacci. Equally comfortable on the concert stage, Daniel has appeared as a soloist in works by Bach, Fauré, Bruckner, Handel, Mendelssohn, Bernstein, and Orff.
Recent highlights for Mr. Lickteig include a debut in Houston with Opera in the Heights as Rodrigo in Verdi’s Don Carlo, Brahms’ Requiem with Overbrook Presbyterian Church, the role of Belcore in L’elisir d’amore, Ford in Verdi’s Falstaff, and the role of Esau in A New Nation, a new opera by composer Mark Peterson. In 2014, Daniel sang the Father in Hansel and Gretel, the roles of Alfio/Tonio in a double bill of Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci, Monterone in Rigoletto, the title role in Mendelssohn’s Elijah, and the Bass Solos in Handel’s Messiah. Already in the 2015 season, Mr. Lickteig has reprised the roles of Rodrigo in Don Carlo and Ford in Falstaff.
